Electronic Document Management and Ordering
Delta L Printing offers our print on demand customers free access to
web-based electronic document management and ordering system. The system
allows authorized company employees to:
- Create new document: Enter document information, such as document number,
title, type, category, set document status (in work, awaiting proof, proofed,
available for ordering and distribution), upload document file(s), order proofs.
- Review existing documents: Search documents by various parameters,
review details
- Update document: Update document information, change status,
upload additional files and/or replace existing ones
- Version control: The system provides an option to create new version of
the document based on existing one, keep track of document versions and authors
- Kitting: Create kits consisting of several documents, review and update
kits
Management can set access rules in such a manner that
employees from different departments will be able to order documents
directly from our printing facility within their competence area and
production limits on "as needed" basis. For example,
sales and marketing personnel can order marketing material (brochures,
catalogs, announcements, etc.) to be shipped directly to them or to be
mailed to a list of clients. Technical staff can order product manuals,
accounting / fulfillment department can order business forms, etc. The
document ordering system allows qualified users to:
- Search and browse documents
- Add documents to the order, specify quantity
- Specify shipping address for the order or upload list of addresses
- Check order status
- Review existing users
- Add new and update existing users
- Specify who can access what area(s), what materials
can user order and set order limits
Management team can review reports on orders, documents usage, users activity, etc.
The system is very flexible and can be adjusted exactly to the needs of
your company.
